Sorry guys I know you were expecting a thought provoking blog but, I am trying to save a TV show I love. Chicago code. It was easily one of the best shows on TV this season. The only problem is that not enough people knew about it. You can catch old episodes on the website
Chicago Code. The good guys weren't all polished and clean, but didn't over do the tough guy thing, the bad guys were smart, cunning and not a bunch of idiots that made rookie mistakes. It had everything that everyone would love. The writer's knew what they were doing when they put this series together. It wasn't your run of the mill cop show, where the good guy caught the bad guy at the end of every episode. Now the morons at FOX have gone and cancelled it. It was so much better than the crap that is on TV now. Real TV has been invaded by reality TV shows. Not my reality. What happen to the craft of entertainment. Unfortunately folks you guys are the reason we don't have anything to watch any more. I am so tired of dancing with the stars, who cares. So you think you can dance, you're o.k but what do you win, a chance to keep dancing? American Idol, enough said. Then it only gets better, The Rock of Love, Jerseylicious, The Bad girls Club, The countless washed up actors, actresses, singers, rappers, ball players with there own "try and make a comeback" shows. Let's not forget the Real housewives of everywhere. Americans are nosy people. We love peeking through the window, so any chance to be in someone else's business we jump on it. Who remembers The Real World? Put seven strangers in a fab house in a great city and watch the sparks fly. There was a formula they came up with, add 1 part gay guy and bi curious chick with 2 parts jock and or homophobe and maybe a dash of militant black guy and you have over 23 seasons of fighting, boozing and non-stop sex. Don't get me wrong, I'm quite sure some of these reality shows are very entertaining but I just want regular TV back. I want story telling, I want creativeness, I want suspense, drama and plot twists. I want a reason to stay home and just watch TV. I'm tired of the combination of a rock star, a British whoever, and the too cool host. I'm tired of the "oh no she didn't" or "did you hear what that bitch said", I'm tired of the Kardashians, (Nothing personal) but you know what I digress. If any of you were fortunate to view Chicago code in its entirety count yourself lucky and do us a favor and sign the petition to bring it back for a second season.
SAVE CHICAGO CODE, it's worth just taking a look at. Just click on the hyperlink and sign the petition. Thanx guys.
